Portfolio
My portfolio consists of eLearning Design and Development projects completed using
Articulate Storyline and Rise, Toonly, TechSmith Camtasia and Snagit, Affinity Designer, Audacity, Canva, and 7taps.
Articulate Storyline Course
Formula 1
This course was so much fun to design and develop! I used Articulate Storyline with all custom templates. I created a freeform drag and drop, several tab interactions, and included media and animations to help engage the learner.

Articulate Rise Course
Positive Discipline
I used Articulate Rise to develop this course, which includes several Storyline interactions within. This eLearning course was designed to act as an alternative to the Instructor Led Training usually provided to parents at a small Montessori school.

Articulate Rise Microlearning
International Travel
I used Articulate Rise's Microlearning feature to develop this course using stepped navigation. I used Affinity Designer to customize all graphics.

Toonly Video
All About Me!
I used Toonly to create a video about my background and my journey to become an Instructional Designer. I used Affinity Designer to create custom backgrounds and objects in order to make this an authentic representation of me! In the last few scenes, I made sure to include my dogs and some of my favorite hobbies. I used Audacity to edit the voice over audio.

7taps Microlearning Course
Pool Chemistry Maintenance
I used 7taps to develop this mini-course on Pool Maintenance. It's a brief course and contains a quiz and an AI video.
Microlearning experiences are great for:
-
Reinforcing already learned concepts
-
Just-In-Time training
-
Introducing simple skills or concepts
-
Providing performance support, especially for tasks not performed regularly
-
Delivering a job aid or "cheat sheet"
-
Prototyping an eLearning course
The course is viewable on a computer screen, but is intended for a phone screen. Click the image or here to view the course.
Camtasia Video
Basics of Golf Clubs
I used Camtasia to create this video illustrating the differences between golf clubs. I used Track Mattes, Interactive Hotspots for user navigation, and synced captions. For the voice narration, I used Amazon's Polly AI with SSML (Speech Synthesis Markup Language) tags to ensure correct pronunciation.
